PensionBee is using 20 car owners in Brighton to advertise their revolutionary online pension platform.
The campaign gives PensionBee customers and Carquids members an opportunity to earn extra cash, by simply branding their cars with PensionBee car wraps. Drivers travel around as they normally would but earn cash for each trip they make, with each journey advertising the PensionBee brand to potential new customers.
Worthing-based business owner, Stu Bowker, from web conversion optimisation agency, Lone Goat, recently combined his pensions with the financial technology startup, and is one of the first PensionBee customers driving around with the advertising from next month. Speaking on the scheme Stu commented:
“It’s quite fun, you get to advertise a product you like and the brand ends up paying a monthly fee. I’ve signed up with them a couple of months ago, when I had to combine a couple of old pensions into a new online plan. I like their brand and the way they’re trying to disrupt an industry that hasn’t changed for decades.”
Research from Carquids in July last year revealed that almost 1/3 of the Carquids community preferred technology brands on their cars instead of mainstream brands. If the pilot is a success in Brighton the company is planning to select more UK drivers to advertise its online pension product.
