London, 2 September 2026: PensionBee, a leader in the consumer retirement market, has transformed the way savers take money from their pensions with the launch of its Automatic withdrawals feature.
Designed to make managing retirement income simpler, clearer and more flexible than ever before, the new feature allows all eligible customers (from age 55 rising to 57 from 2028) to schedule monthly withdrawals from their pension directly to their bank account. This modernisation reflects PensionBee’s ongoing commitment to simplifying pensions and building technology that empowers customers to make confident financial decisions in retirement.
PensionBee’s Automatic withdrawals feature sits alongside the existing one-off withdrawal option, enabling customers to make ad-hoc withdrawals if they prefer. Together, they give customers more flexibility and control over how they access their pensions. Automatic withdrawals are available to customers via the PensionBee app and through its website. Customers can easily set up and manage their withdrawals independently through their online account “BeeHive”, without the need to contact PensionBee, putting them more in control over how they access their pension.
The new Automatic withdrawals feature is the latest in a series of digital innovations from PensionBee, designed to make managing pensions effortless. By simplifying decision-making and reducing the number of steps needed to withdraw, PensionBee continues to set the standard for transparency and usability. Its industry-leading product is underpinned by interactive tools, educational content and excellent customer service delivered by its UK-based team of BeeKeepers (personal account managers), who are on hand to help customers throughout their retirement journey – from sign up to drawdown.
Customers who are already making regular withdrawals will benefit from the new feature immediately, saving them from having to make repeated withdrawals manually, while those approaching retirement will find the process clearer and more intuitive when they become eligible.
